All steps for the Edgebanding is created automatically after defining the contours and corners.
This programming tool is integrated directly into woodWOP 8.0, so that there is no longer any need to use a separate application. All edge banding steps are generated automatically after the contours and corners have been defined. The revised technology database supports situation-dependent inputs, C-angle and heating power. The import of edge images by external CAD systems is also possible with the new wizard. For example, programs with edge gluing can be created even faster.
Generated Macros for edge editing are subordinate to the Wizard macro. The generation run takes place upon request or automatically when the workpiece is occupied. Data import and control from the CAD/CAM system is possible via MPRXE.
The advantages of the Gluing Wizard at a glance:
Full integration with woodWOP
Even faster creation of programs for machines with edge banding
Can be integrated into CAD/CAM system landscapes
Better solutions for different gluing techniques
woodWOP is HOMAG's graphical CNC programming software for woodworking machines. It enables easy creation, editing, and optimization of machining programs through an intuitive user interface, and supports both standard and parametric CNC programming for flexible manufacturing processes.
Edgebanding is a manufacturing process in which edge bands are applied to workpieces to protect their edges and enhance their appearance.
A macro is a parameterizable machining module in woodWOP that describes CNC machining such as drilling, milling or sawing and contains the associated machining and tool data.
