Why can't I send my cutting plans from intelliDivide to productionAssist Cutting?

First of all, please make sure that the license for productionAssist is correctly created in your tapio account. When optimizing in intelliDivide, you must select productionAssist Cutting in the selection field for the machine. How does that work?

Can cutting plans from Schnitt Profi(t) also be used directly in productionAssist Cutting or do I always need intelliDivide?

In order to use the cutting plans in productionAssist Cutting on the saw, they must be optimized by intelliDivide and sent from there to the productionAssist Cutting app. Cutting plans from Schnitt Profi(t) can therefore not be used directly, but must be imported into intelliDivide beforehand and optimized there.

Do I need to print a single label for each part, or can I print multiple labels for a strip with multiple parts (or for the whole plate)?

By switching from the cutting plan view to the cutting list view (selection of the tab), you have the option of selecting each part, several parts or the entire cutting plan. A button will appear to print the selected parts. The labels are then printed in one piece.

Labels

Can the label layout be customized?

In the productionAssist configuration, you can choose between two different label layouts after you have assigned the printer.

Optionally, there is the option of having HOMAG create an individual layout for you. This service is charged in accordance with the HOMAG guidelines against expenses. Please contact your service company for this.

What information is on the label?

To make it as easy as possible for you to get started with the wizards, we print all the important information for production on a predefined label layout.

Can I use one label printer for multiple applications/shelves?

In principle, a printer can also be assigned to another app (= assistant app) at the same time. This can be set in the configuration dialog (gear wheel at the workstation in the app). However, keep in mind that some apps use different label formats.

Where can I get more label rolls?

You can easily reorder the label rolls via our eShop .

Alternatively, you can obtain the labels elsewhere. Please note the relevant requirements.
