How HOMAG's Edge Assistant works
To get the most out of the Edgeband Management Set, you need two apps: the materialManager (central material management) and the materialAssist Edge (management of the edge bands at the workplace in the workshop) as well as an edgeband shelf. First, you create your edge materials in the materialManager.
Then go to the edge shelf and create each of your edge rolls in the materialAssist app. From now on, all information about this edge band (properties, remaining length) is easy to retrieve. It is just as easy to print the corresponding labels for marking the edgebands directly from the application. If you now want to store an edge tape on your shelf, the materialAssist Edge suggests a shelf compartment. The corresponding location on the shelf can be recognized by the LED display that lights up.
If you want to edge a workpiece, simply select the right edge band by touch in the app. At the same time, the suitable edge on the edge tape shelf can be identified quickly and easily by lighting up the LED display.
After the part has been edging, you can update the remaining length in the materialAssist app. The total length of each edge material and the number of rolls created are updated simultaneously in the materialManager. This means that you always have an overview of your material.
The result: The Edgeband Management Set ensures optimal organization of your edgebands. You always keep track of all the information about your edge material and quickly find the right edge tape at any time.
