Activating test periods

The test periods are activated directly in the applications. For information on the correct use of the function itself, please refer to the operating instructions of the machine (if necessary, use the help button on the machine control). How to proceed:

MMR Professional

The test period of MMR Professional can easily be activated on the machine. 

  1. Open powerTouch start menue
  2. Select button "Other apps"
  3. Select "Machine data acquisition MDA" and "Key figures"
  4. Test professional version (F6)

The test version of MMR Professional can be started 50 times.

Data Backup via Network

The test period for the function Network Backup gets with the start of the machine automatically activated. Here you find the function:

  1. Open powerTouch start menue
  2. Select button "Other apps"
  3. Select the application "Backup"
  4. Select the tab "PC-1:1 Network Backup"

After 30 machine starts the test period of "Network Backup" is used up and the tab gets enabled.

intelliGuide Classic

The "intelliGuide Classic" function can be permanently activated free of charge via the tapio account. However, you can also activate a test period for intelliGuide Classic directly on the machine.

  1. Open the powerTouch start menu
  2. Select the "Other apps" button
  3. Select "additional options"
  4. Activate the switch button for "intelliGuide Classic".
  5. Reboot

You can see the remaining test days in the second column.

combiTec Recuts

If the motorized scoring saw stroke is installed, the test period of combiTec can easily be activated on the machine.

  1. Open powerTouch start menue
  2. Select button "Other apps"
  3. Select "additional options"
  4. Activation of "combiTec Recuts/ Nachschnitte" via toggle switch
  5. System restart

You can see the remaining test days in the second column.

Stress elimination cuts and cut-out Program

The test period of the cut-out and stress elimination cut programm can easily be activated on the machine.

  1. Open powerTouch start menue
  2. Select button "Other apps"
  3. Select "additional options"
  4. Activation of "Stress Release Cuts/ Spannungsfreischnitt" via toggle switch
  5. System restart

You can see the remaining test days in the second column.

Extension gluing unit powerEdge Pro for airTec-function

The test period of the airTec-function begins automatically when a woodWOP-program with an airTec gluing operation is loaded and startet on the CNC machine for the first time. The test period of the extension "gluing unit powerEdge Pro for airTec-function" is 20 days. It is possible to load and start multiple woodWOP-programs with airTec gluing operations during a day of the test period. Days on which no airTec gluing operations are done on the CNC-machine do not count as test days. After the test period the airTec softkey disappears from the powerTouch menu.
