In the store view, the catalog of materials can be opened by clicking on the Add material button.
The catalog contains all types created in materialManager or provided by tapio partners.
The selection can be limited with the filters.
If the material, which has to be added, has a QR code or barcode, this can also be used for identification. After clicking on the scan button (1), the code can be scanned with the tablet. Alternatively, it is also possible with a connected bluethooth scanner.
Clicking on the identified material type in the catalog (2) opens the Add material dialog.
If the material type could not be found in the catalog, it can be added by clicking on add new type. Details can be found in the materialManager documentation.
In the Add material dialog, different information can be stored depending on the material. For example, in the case of an edgeband, it is the length (1).
Furthermore, the number (2) of items (e.g. rolls, plates) to be added is stored.
The storage location (3) can be selected from a list. Alternatively, this is also possible by scanning the label at the storage location with the tablet or a connected bluetooth scanner.
The storage is noted by clicking on Confirm (4). By clicking on Label & Confirm (5), a label is issued for each item for later identification.
Selecting the storage location via scan registers automatically the storage, prints a label for each item and closes the dialog.
Note: The option allocate storage later can be used, e.g. to book a goods receipt without allocating the material to a specific storage place. However, the material already appears in the materialManager and in the store view of the materialAssist.
