Mounting
The device has "protection class IP20" and should be installed as protected as possible.
Tools required
You will need a drill, a 6 mm drill bit and a cross-headed screwdriver.
Relevant device information
Important note: The information required for commissioning is printed on the sticker on the back of the device. Make a note of this or take a photo of the label before installing the appliance.
Explanation:
- Art. No = HOMAG article number
- Serial = The unique serial number of the device
- Hostname = Address at which the device can be opened in the browser. This is made up of the homag-iot-MAC address of the device
- Password = Device-specific password for accessing the device interface
Connecting accessories
- The power supply unit is plugged into connection X1.
- The network cable is plugged into LAN1.
- The external button is plugged into connection X13.
- Please seal the unused connections with the plugs supplied.
- The computer starts as soon as the power supply unit is connected to a socket.
- The network cable is connected to the hall network or to a free LAN port on a HOMAG Group Internet router.
- The external button can be freely positioned (cable length 25 m).
Installing the PC in the bracket
- The computer is snapped into the top-hat rail. The tab for unhooking it from the top-hat rail must point downwards.
- The accessories can be plugged in before or after.
Mounting on the wall
- Mark the drill holes.
- Drill the holes with the 6 mm drill bit and then insert the wall plugs.
- Screw in the screws with the cross-headed screwdriver - at a distance of approx. 3 mm from the wall.
- Hang the bracket onto the screws.
- Once installation is complete, you can remove the protective film from the HOMAG logo.
Mounting on the machine
- Mark the holes.
- ATTENTION: Check beforehand that there are no components behind the plate that could be damaged!
- Screw the screws directly into the sheet metal - these are self-tapping.
- Hook the bracket into the screws.
- Once installation is complete, you can remove the protective film from the HOMAG logo.
Mounting in the switch cabinet/TSN junction box
- ATTENTION: Electrically trained personnel required!
- You can mount the computer inside the control cabinet on a top-hat rail. The power supply is provided either by the power supply unit supplied or 24V DC from the machine.
- A space of 15 mm should be kept free around the sides of the computer.
Mounting without bracket
- The computer can also be placed without a bracket. The ventilation slots on the back must not be covered.
