Traverse Optimization of Identical Machining

Reduction of program running times by optimizing travel distances

Traverse path optimization: More efficient machining sequence for reduced program times and increased machine efficiency

woodWOP processes the edits in the order in which they are programmed in the macro list. In the case of programs created by DXF import or originating from external systems or nesting software, it can happen that the order of the edits is random or not optimal. woodWOP can now optimize this sequence by swapping all successively programmed edits that differ only in position in such a way that the travel paths between the edits are optimized.

The advantages at a glance:

  • Simplify program creation

  • Minimization of travel distances between machining operations

  • Reduction of program duration

  • Increased machine efficiency
