Inactive components and Macros can be ignored for better performance.
The "Ignore Inactive Macros" function increases the performance of programs with many inactive macros and components. It has now been significantly expanded, so that a second level can be selected: "Inactive components and macros". At this level, you can specify how inactive program components are to be handled.
There are three options available:
0 = Load/Calculate: Inactive components and macros are loaded and calculated.
1 = Load/Don't Calculate: Inactive components and macros are loaded, but not calculated.
2 = Do not load/do not compute: Inactive components and macros are not loaded and not calculated.
Level 2 can significantly increase the performance of the software. Components are only reloaded when they are activated, e.g. by conditions or by ticking certain options.
The advantages at a glance:
For programs with many nested components, performance can be significantly improved
When opening, assigning, and generating the program, there is no need to load or compute inactive woodWOP components
A macro is a parameterizable machining module in woodWOP that describes CNC machining such as drilling, milling or sawing and contains the associated machining and tool data.
woodWOP is HOMAG's graphical CNC programming software for woodworking machines. It enables easy creation, editing, and optimization of machining programs through an intuitive user interface, and supports both standard and parametric CNC programming for flexible manufacturing processes.
