In intelliDivide, you have different export options available, which differ between intelliDivide Cutting and intelliDivide Nesting.
For intelliDivide Cutting, the export of your optimization results in the formats SAW, PTX and PDF as well as the export of material requirements are available separately.
For intelliDivide Nesting, you can also export PDF and export material requirements. In addition, the results can be exported in PNX format as a ZIP file.
These export options can be configured independently and can be enabled or disabled individually.
To make the respective settings, first open the export tab in the intelliDivide settings. You can use the pencil icon to edit the desired export option.

Opening Settings in intelliDivide
intelliDivide Cutting
For intelliDivide Cutting, settings can be made for SAW, PDF and PTX export formats.
SAW
For the SAW export, you must first adjust the character encoding. Under "Compatibility", you can therefore make the following setting, depending on your CADmatic version:
CADmatic 4 and 5
Both CADmatic 4 and CADmatic 5 support the default character encoding "Unicode (UTF-8)". It is also not necessary to shorten the file name to 8 characters.

"Unicode (UTF-8)" as the default setting for CADmatic 4 and 5
CADmatic 3
For CADmatic 3, you need to adjust the character encoding. The file format "ANSI (Windows-1252)" (1) is supported. If no umlauts are used, you can also choose the character encoding "US-ASCII". In addition, you must activate the option "Shorten the file name to 8 characters" (2) for CADmatic 3. This also allows you to create section plans for older machines in intelliDivide that cannot be updated to a newer CADmatic.

Under the CADmatic settings, assign a column position between 14-99 to both the required properties and the optional properties to be used in the export file.

Finally, don't forget to save your changes by "Confirm".
You can use "Delete Assignment" or "Reset to Default" to undo your adjustments at any time.
PTX
For PTX export, the required standard properties are automatically inserted into the sections according to the PTX specification.
You assign the optional properties to a column position between 14-99 in the same way as the SAW export.
