Power BI is an analytics tool from Microsoft that far exceeds what Excel can do, especially with its excellent capabilities for visualizing data using beautiful graphs. In addition, Power BI Desktop can be downloaded free of charge from Microsoft .
Power BI can access the data of the applications via the HOMAG Connect interface, similar to Excel.
On the right side of this page you will find links to various templates for download. These can be used as a basis for evaluating the data provided by the various applications in Power BI.
The use of the templates is described below.

Download the template you want to use.

A login dialog appears. Switch to the third option "Standard" and enter the SubscriptionId for the username and the permission key for the password.
For more information about how to obtain the SubscriptionId and permission key, see the Authentication page.

If necessary, the security level of the data must be set to "Private".
The Power BI file created from the template can be stored locally.

When the application is reopened, the data must be updated. This is done by clicking the "Update" button.
It is not necessary to re-enter the login data for this purpose. The connection data is stored in Power BI.
