Adding or adjusting properties

Prev Next

To adjust existing properties or add new columns to orders or BOMs, you can adjust the data model in the productionManager. This function is included from productionManager Advanced .

You can access the settings for the data model via the HOMAG menu (1), which you can use to open the settings (2). There you will find the corresponding settings under the Data Model tab (3).

Basically, properties are created and edited either order-related (1) or BOM-related (2). Below this selection, you will first see the existing default properties. If necessary, you can define a pre-filled content for these default properties, i.e. a default value for the respective column. The remaining values of the default properties are immutable.

Additional features

If your requirements are not covered by the predefined columns, then you have the option of defining your own properties by clicking on the "+ Add Additional Property" button (1). You'll need to provide some basic information, such as a mandatory ID and name. Optionally, you can add further information such as a description, the data type (e.g. integers, decimals, text, and date & times) or a predefined content (2). It is also possible to set a set of rules (3) for the property. Here you can decide whether the new field is mandatory or optional and, if necessary, define a permissible range of values for the inputs.

"Confirm" adds the new property. It can then be used in the productionManager and productionAssist.

The additional properties are also available in import and export, when sending the BOM to intelliDivide and via the API interface.
