Multiple contours can be combined and summarized as "Nesting safety distance".
To account for tool movements during nesting, a contour can be programmed as a "nesting safety distance" in the woodWOP part program. What is new is that no longer only a single contour can be used, but several contours can be defined as a "nesting safety distance". woodWOP combines these contours into one contour for you.
The advantages at a glance:
Simplified programming
The "nesting safety distance" can also be programmed into components
Significantly lower effort with increased security at the same time
Nesting is a process for the automatic arrangement of components on a raw board with the aim of minimizing material waste, reducing material costs and maximizing the utilization of the board material.
woodWOP is HOMAG's graphical CNC programming software for woodworking machines. It enables easy creation, editing, and optimization of machining programs through an intuitive user interface, and supports both standard and parametric CNC programming for flexible manufacturing processes.
