Effective use of materials: diagrams in intelliDivide Cutting to analyze and improve resource efficiency

intelliDivide Cutting Advanced / Premium, materialAssist Boards

Das Diagramm 'Relative Materialeffizienz' gibt Auskunft darüber, wie effizient ein Material genutzt wird, indem er den Anteil der entstehenden Teile, Abfälle und Reste in Prozent angibt.

The 'Relative Material Efficiency' chart provides information on how efficiently a material is being used by indicating the percentage of parts, waste and residues produced.

Das Diagramm 'Teilefläche nach Materialcode' gibt Auskunft darüber, wie häufig ein Material genutzt wird, indem er den Anteil der entstehenden Teile, Abfälle und Reste in m² angibt.

The 'Part Area by Material Code' chart provides information on how often a material is used by indicating the proportion of parts, waste and residues generated in m².

Links im Diagramm 'Materialnutzung' wird das Verhältnis von ganzen Platten zu Resten als Ausgangsmaterial dargestellt.

On the left of the 'Material Utilization' diagram, the ratio of whole panels to remnants as the starting material is shown.

Rechts im Diagramm 'Materialnutzung' wird das Verhältnis von Teilen, Abfall und Resten als Ergebnis dargestellt.

On the right of the 'Material Usage' diagram, the ratio of parts, waste and leftovers is shown as a result.

In intelliDivide Cutting Advanced and Premium , there is a new overview of the use of materials, which includes all transferred optimizations. This overview includes several diagrams that show how effectively each material is being used.

  • Relative Material Efficiency by Material Code

The diagram provides information about how efficiently a material is being used by indicating the percentage of parts, waste and residues produced.

  • Part Area by Material Code

The diagram shows the proportion of parts, waste and residues produced in m² and thus how often a certain material is used. Improving material efficiency, especially for commonly used materials, can contribute to significant cost savings.

  • Material use

The diagram shows both the ratio of whole plates and remnants as starting material, as well as the ratio of parts, waste and remnants as a result. The ratio of generated and reused leftovers is particularly interesting. If there's a big difference here, it's worth adjusting the settings for using leftovers, as this can potentially save costs.

The available diagrams provide valuable information to analyze and improve material utilization to increase cutting efficiency and sustainability.

One way to improve material utilization and achieve cost savings is to consolidate optimizations, especially for commonly used materials. This allows materials to be used more effectively and waste to be reduced, which directly contributes to reducing costs.
