New drop-down menu to select the disk type

Example 1: Use of only whole panels

Example 2: Use of only leftover pieces
A new drop-down menu with a big impact: From now on, you can decide which material sources intelliDivide should access before optimization. This creates order in the leftover shelf and security in the calculation.
The innovation:
In the optimization parameters, you will now find a new selection option. You now have three options for how intelliDivide should calculate your order:
1. Plates and scraps (standard)
intelliDivide intelligently combines your stocks (leftovers) and entire panels so that there is as little waste as possible.
2. Disks only ("The Calculation Mode")
Are you preparing an offer for a customer and need a reliable price basis? Typically, only whole panels are calculated for quotations. If you calculate with whole plates, you get realistic material costs for your quotation – without the risk that a planned remainder may not be available at the start of production.
3. Only leftovers ("The clean-up mode")
Is your leftover shelf overflowing? Use this option for internal orders, plinth panels or fillers. In this case, intelliDivide only uses leftovers for optimization. In this way, you create valuable space in the warehouse.
NOTE:
You don't have to re-enter the settings every time. Simply create different parameter templates (e.g. a template Offers/New Goods and a template Clean Up Warehouse). In the future, you will be able to quickly switch between optimization strategies in the app or via HOMAG Connect.
The feature is now available when you start your next optimization.
