The new version of the batch formation brings some new functionalities. From now on, it is not only possible to add complete orders to a lot, but also material groups. This makes it possible, for example, to combine components of different orders that have the same material. Depending on how you produce, this can be based on the sheet, edge or laminate material.

By clicking on the "(+)" symbol next to the corresponding material, all parts of this material, including the subsequent process steps necessary for the parts (edge banding, laminating, CNC, assembly & shipping), can be added to the lot (1).

A possible lot is shown in (2). Here, the parts with the plate material "P2_Gold Craft Oak" were combined into one lot.

In order not to lose track of the tasks despite the division of the orders, the new column "Number scheduled" is displayed separately for each order. This means that it is clear at any time whether the task has already been fully scheduled or not.

However, since orders can also be sent to intelliDivide or exported in parts from the bill of materials, automatic lots for these actions will be created from now on. The same applies to reproductions that are sent to or exported to intelliDivide. The automatically created lots are also visible in the lot management.

With the new version of batch formation, however, reproductions can also be combined directly into one lot, together with other orders. Once a rebuild has been approved, it will appear in the list of orders on the left. In addition, reproductions are always sorted to the top of the list, so that they are not overlooked when creating a new lot. The fact that it is a reproduction is indicated by the reproduction symbol, which is displayed at both the workgroup level and the material level (3).

In the last screenshot (4), you can see how the reproduction was added to an existing lot from another order with the same sheet material.
