Error message because a grain has been entered for the new material, while no grain is stored for the material group.
The pin to the right of the material code can now also be used to adjust the grain for the material group.
From now on, the grain for a material group will also be checked in the materialManager . This ensures directly in the materialManager that you have the right plates available for your optimization in intelliDivide , each with or without grain. For example, if you now add a new material (3) that has a grain (4) to an existing material group (1) that does not have any grain so far (2), you will see a corresponding error message.
Do you have material groups in your database in which both grain and grain materials occur? Don't worry. These will only be displayed as invalid when you switch to edit mode and click in a cell there.
You can now also adjust the grain directly in the material group settings. You can access this via the pin to the right of your material code, where you can choose between "None", "Longitudinal", "Transverse" or "No change".
