The procedure for replacing a HOMAG is the same for materialAssist and productionAssist sorting. When replacing a HOMAG CUBE for productionAssist cutting, nesting or feedback, you can simply skip the steps for configuring the LED strips and storage locations.
Please follow the instructions below to replace your HOMAG CUBE. With "Confirm & Next" you save your changes and get to the next configuration step.
Step 1: Start the configuration
Open the configuration of the corresponding workstation via the gear icon. Then click "Confirm & Next" until you get to the configuration for the HOMAG CUBE.

Step 2: Adding the new HOMAG CUBE
The new HOMAG CUBE can be added by scanning the label on the back. This can be done using either a tablet or a connected Bluetooth scanner. Please note that this process may take a few minutes.
As soon as the new HOMAG CUBE has been successfully added, please select it in the overview.
It is important not to delete the old HOMAG CUBE for the following steps.

Step 3: Configuring the Printer
In the next step, select the printer that is assigned to the new HOMAG CUBE and confirm your selection.
Configuration of the printer is required before using it. First, select the label size (1) and then calibrate (2) the printer. The printout can be verified by issuing a test label (3 ). The alignment can be adjusted if necessary by adjusting the spacing (4).

Step 4: Configuring the LED Strips
This is followed by the integration of the LED strips connected to your new HOMAG CUBE. These can be easily integrated by clicking on "Add LED bar".

To set up a new LED bar correctly, apply the settings of the old bar that will replace it. Start by selecting the LED strip that goes with the corresponding LED box of the new HOMAG CUBE (1). If necessary, adjust the connection side (right or left) (2) and set the correct number of LEDs (3). Finally, save the settings via "Confirm".

Repeat the process until a corresponding new counterpart has been added for each old LED strip.

Step 5: Configuration of the storage bins
To transfer the materials that are already stored in the existing materialAssist or productionAssist storage bins and to avoid data loss, simply adjust the existing storage locations by clicking on the pin in the row of the relevant workstation to start processing.

All you have to do is select the LED strip of your new HOMAG CUBE and confirm your settings.

Repeat this process for all bins. Once all of them are reconfigured, you can proceed to the final step.

Step 6: Erase the old HOMAG CUBE and the old LED strips
In the last step, remove your old HOMAG CUBE and the associated LED strips. Navigate the configuration by clicking on "Back" until you reach the respective configuration step for "HOMAG CUBE" or "LED strips". Delete the devices by clicking on the garbage can icon in the corresponding line. Please note that the deletion process cannot be undone.
