In the Cutting area , you can define the process parameters for the individual material categories (carrier material) and respective coatings. For an explanation of the process parameters, see the Process Parameters section.
The page lists the created material categories (carrier material) with the respective coatings. If this list is empty, no materials have yet been assigned to a material category. If an orange warning sign is displayed, this tab contains material category-coating combinations for which no process parameters are stored (in this example for "Compact Plates (HPL) - Undefined").
By selecting a row, the process parameters of all (in twinio) created main saw blade types for this material category and coating are displayed.

Overview of process parameters for different saw blade types
The view provides an overview of the main saw blade types, with their product names (tool type) and dimensions (dimensions). In addition, the process parameters for rough cutting and finished cutting are displayed. The explanation of the individual parameters can be found here. If the process parameter is within the recommended range of HOMAG GmbH, this area is colored green (1). If the process parameter is outside this range, the area containing the process parameter is colored orange. The recommended area is colored dark gray (2). This way, you can see directly where your settings deviate from the recommendations and can detect any errors more quickly.
You can use the pen to make changes to the process parameters. (3)

Processing of process parameters
The process parameters can be set in the "Edit Process Parameters" dialog. The process parameters can be defined separately for cutting (1) and finished cutting (2).
The Use Saw Blade for Cutting option (3) can be used to specify the suitability of the saw blade type for the material category. If the tool is marked as unsuitable, a warning message appears on the saw if a material in this category is processed with this type of saw blade. You have the option of ignoring this warning on the machine and using the process parameters set in this dialog for the cut.
Using the Use Recommendation for Parameters option (4), you can specify whether the default values of HOMAG GmbH should be used. As soon as you manually change a value, this option is automatically deactivated. Enabling this option resets all values to their original default values.
The cutting speed adjustment option and the "Use mains operation" option (5) are only visible if at least one machine with variable speed option is connected. If the tick at (5) is activated, the set cutting speed is ignored and the machine operates in mains mode. By clicking on Confirm (6), all changes (for cut and finish) will be applied.
Show and hide process parameters

Clicking on Manage Options opens a dialog to show or hide process parameters or a processing quality.

Overview of the process parameters for the different saw blade types
(1) Deactivating it hides the "Crop" column in the process parameters. In addition, the process parameters for the blank can no longer be changed manually.
(2) Deactivating it hides the "Finished Cut" column in the process parameters. In addition, the process parameters for the final cut can no longer be changed manually.
(3) Deactivation hides the process parameter for the saw blade protrusion. In addition, it can no longer be changed manually.
(4) Deactivation hides the process parameter for tooth feed at maximum package. In addition, it can no longer be changed manually.
There is also the option
(5) "Recommendation Show cutting speed and make it changeable", which is not shown in the picture. This setting is only visible if at least one of the connected machines has the "Frequency Control" option . If this is deactivated, the process parameter for the cutting speed is hidden. In addition, it can no longer be changed manually.
Settings (3), (4) and (5) apply to both the rough cut and the finished cut (if (1) and (2) are activated).
If an option is deactivated, the process parameters recommended by HOMAG GmbH are transferred to the saw for this process value or quality, regardless of previously set values.
