With materialManager, you can manage the materials in your company centrally in one application. Once entered, the data on your materials can be used in a variety of apps (e.g. intelliDivide cutting optimization , productionAssist Cutting Assistant ) and on machines (e.g. SAWTEQ panel sizing saws, S500 edge banding machine).
The materialManager is a web application. To open it, simply type the URL https://materialManager.homag.cloud into your browser bar. Alternatively, you can directly click on the provided link to launch the application.
After opening the app, you'll find the "Materials" navigation pane on the left-hand side, which allows you to switch between the "Panels" and "Edge Bands" material types. If you still have a corresponding license for intelliDivide, you can also use the "Editing" navigation section with the "Optimization" area. If you have purchased the materialManager Advanced license for your saw, the "Cutting" area is also available to you.
The first time you access it, the menu item "Disks" is automatically selected. In the overview, the materialManager shows you the most important information (e.g. material or board code, thickness, length, width, grain, cost per square metre and category). You can find a material either via the full-text search or by filtering by the material or plate code. As usual, the display of the list (columns, filters, sorting) can be adjusted .
You can add other plate types individually by clicking on the "+ Add disk type" button .

You have the option of revising your materials as a list via "Edit". You can also export the BOM as a bdx or csv file. Materials that are below the minimum stock can also be exported separately. An import function for material data is also available.
Other promotions
The overview for edge bands is structured similarly. By default, you'll see values such as edge code, number, total length, décor name, height, and thickness. Information about the current stock level can be found in the columns "Total Number" (number of edgeband rolls) and "Total Length" (remaining length of all edgeband rolls summed up).
