Selection from the catalogue
By clicking on the button "+Add panel type" or "+ Add edge tape type", you have access to the material catalog. The button is not immediately visible to you if an error (red circle with white exclamation mark) is displayed due to invalid data in your record. Then you can access the material catalogue via the three-point menu. You can find out how to correct sensitive data here.

The panel catalogue contains the material master data of the manufacturer Egger, the edge belt catalogue the material data of the manufacturers Rehau, Egger, Harnipex and Ostermann.
To make navigation easier for you, you can use the integrated search function (1). Alternatively, it is possible to filter the catalogue data by "product name", "length" or "décor code", for example (2).
If you want to see the materials from the catalog in the full-width dialog box, you can hide the filters by using the filter icon (3). The gear icon will take you to Settings (4). There you have the option to adjust the filters and the material data displayed on the cards. For the exact details, see Configuring Lists.
To create a new material, you have two options. If the type of material you are looking for is contained in the kataog, the data can be copied by clicking on the corresponding map (5). If the type of material you want does not exist in the catalog, click on "Material not found in the catalog?" (6).

If you choose one of these two options, the corresponding "Add Plate Type" or "Add Edge Tape Type" dialog box opens, where you can edit the material data. Depending on the type of material, different data can be stored. The material and plate code is used to identify the material. From the manufacturer's master data, the material code is suggested for the panels according to the scheme {abbreviation category}_{decor name or decal code}_{thickness} and slab code {material code}_{length}_{width}, while the edge code {abbreviation category}_{décor name}_{thickness}_{height}_{abbreviation process} is used for the edge band types. For panels, "Confirm" will add the new material type.

Materials can be easily duplicated by clicking Copy in the list or detail view. This is especially handy if you want to add another format to an existing material type, for example.

The data of the copied type is taken over and can be adjusted manually. Properties that need to be unique (such as the disk code) are automatically appended with the addition "-Copy".
Tip: It is advisable to always build the material and plate code for board materials or the edge code for edge materials in the same way according to a certain pattern. This makes it easier to put on and find a material in daily use.
