The "Extended Compute Time" option can be enabled in the optimization parameters.
Alternatives calculated by the Extended Compute Time option are flagged.
Alternatives calculated by the "Extended Compute Time" option are more likely to have similar plans.
Alternatives calculated by the Extended Compute Time option are more likely to use remainders.
In intelliDivide Cutting, the option "Extended Computing Time" is available in the Premium license.
To improve the quality and quantity of nesting results, an option "Extended computation time" can be activated in the optimization parameters. This is available from the intelliDivide Nesting Advanced license.
The "Extended Computing Time" option calculates more alternatives and searches longer for optimal results. As usual, the most interesting solutions are still displayed in the overview. The number of different solutions is mainly influenced by the number of different plate and scrap sizes and by the "number plus" parameter.
The "Extended Compute Time" option generates solutions with similar plans more often. This reduces the consumption of MDF waste panels.
Note: The "Extended Compute Time" option results in a significantly longer compute time.
