The residues that occur during the processing of an order in productionAssist Cutting can be labeled and registered in the materialManager for later use in intelliDivide .
Existing leftovers can be recorded with the help of the materialAssist Board .

First, the panel material from which the rest is made is selected. Before labelling, the length and width are stored.

Tip:
If the plate types have been created in the materialManager beforehand, the registration in the materialAssist boards is much faster.
Registering Leftovers in the productionAssist Cutting
After selecting the remainder (automatically as part of processing or manually) in the cutting plan, you can open a dialog for editing the remainder by clicking on "Label / Confirm / Register".

In this dialog you can adjust the length and width (1) if necessary.
When you click on Label & Register (3), a label with a unique number is issued and the rest is registered for further use in the materialManager . In the materialManager, the rest is now automatically displayed as part of the inventory.
If you do not want to register, you can simply click on Label & Confirm (2) to issue a label containing the material and dimensions. You can then continue editing.

Tip: When using the materialAssist board , the rest can be assigned to a storage location at this point.
Viewing Leftovers in the materialManager
For the remnants registered in productionAssist Cutting , a new entry is automatically created within the corresponding material. The disk code is preceded by an X and is composed of XMaterial Code LengthxWidth .

By clicking on the entry of the remainder, the detailed view opens. In the "Stock" tab, the unique number of the remainder and the creation date are displayed.

Using Leftovers in intelliDivide
In intelliDivide , the available plates and leftovers are displayed in the "Disks" tab.

Depending on the settings and the stored material costs, leftovers are preferred for optimization in order to keep the stock of leftovers as small as possible.

When the optimization result is transferred to productionAssist Cutting , the remaining items are reserved for the order (1). This also reduces the number of available (2) disks of this remainder.

The rest needed for a cutting plan can be identified using the "plate code" and the data on the label.
Tip: When using the materialAssist board , information about the storage location is also displayed.

Once editing has started, the rest is removed from the materialManager .
Registering waste as remnant
Comparable to a residue in a cutting plan, waste can also be registered as a residue in the materialManager if required. The piece of waste must be selected manually for this purpose.
