The Post-Production function supports you in the organization of your reproduction components. Reproduction is included from the productionManager Advanced version .
You can enter components for reproduction in productionAssist and automatically display them for further processing in the productionManager.
When entering a reproduction component, you can select the appropriate options from five defect categories, each with six defect reasons.
In addition, you can notify the responsible employee and add photos or comments, so that reproduction can be quickly and smoothly reintroduced into the production process.
To transfer reproductions to your cutting optimization, send the reproduction parts to intelliDivide or generate an Excel file with the relevant information.
Back in the production process, you have an overview of the status of the reproduction components in productionAssist and productionManager at any time and can track the post-production in the order progress.
Add the "Reproduction" workstation in productionAssist
To use reproduction, you must purchase a license for this option.
After purchasing a license, add the post-production workstation in productionAssist and configure it.

Entering reproduction in productionAssist
As soon as a reproduction workstation has been created, a component can be registered for reproduction.
To enter a reproduction in productionAssist, scan a component ID directly in the work center overview and select the Reproduction option, or you can open the Reproduction work center and scan a component ID here.
Only components that have at least the status of Ready for Production can be entered for reproduction.

There are five error categories to choose from [1]. For each category, six error reasons are stored [2].
For both selection fields, the value Other is preselected.
For quick and targeted processing and assessment of the reproduction request in the productionManager, comments, images and documents can be added and the notification function can be used [3].
Note:
If a component with a number greater than 1 is located at several workstations, the last workstation of this component must be selected. Otherwise, the quantities cannot be calculated correctly in the Order Progress tab.
Tip:
For a better overview, the columns Quantity Produced, Number Reproduction and Number Remaining are also available for each workstation in productionAssist and can be added via the table settings .

Overview and editing of reproductions in productionManager
As soon as a post-production work center has been created in productionAssist, the Post-Production tab appears in the productionManager.
In the Reproduction tab, all reproductions with the relevant information are clearly listed sorted by status.
Note:
A green notification icon appears in the productionManager when a new reproduction request has been received for evaluation.

Overview of all reproductions in the "Reproduction" tab
To process a remake request, it must be rejected or approved.
Once approved, the request will automatically be moved to the Approved tab. From there, the reproduction can be sent directly to intelliDivide or exported for another cutting optimization – such as Schnitt Profi(t) – after which the reproduction request is automatically moved to the Completed tab.

Sending Multiple Approved Reproductions to intelliDivide
A reproduction request can also be rejected if, for example, it was unfounded or the component can be repaired. In this case, a reason for the rejection must be entered and the user who made the reproduction request is pre-selected for notification.
A rejected remake request is automatically moved to the Completed tab.
