Registering a "Piece of Waste" as a "Residual"
It can happen that larger pieces of waste are created in pruning plans that are actually too small for a typical "remainder". However, these can be reused quite sensibly, especially if it is a high-quality material.
How does that work? First, select the corresponding "waste piece" in the cutting plan. After that, the registration can be carried out in the same way as you do for the registration of remainders. Details can be found in the section Dealing with leftovers.
Now the "waste piece" is registered in the materialManager and is thus available to intelliDivide for the next optimization.
Note:
In order to use the new function, an update of the app may be necessary.
Tip:
If large pieces of waste are frequently generated, it may be useful to adjust the minimum size for leftovers in intelliDivide or to work with plus parts. Details can be found in the section Machine Parameters Cutting.
