intelliDivide now makes it even easier for you: you no longer need to compare solutions in intelliDivide to save money. From now on, the solution with the lowest total cost will automatically appear at the top of your results list.
The background:
Until now, intelliDivide has mostly recommended the Balanced Solution – a mix of low waste and good handling.
But now that you can enter your machine hourly rates, profitability is also taken into account for the recommendation.
What is new?:
intelliDivide calculates the exact Total Costs (Material Costs + Machine Time) for every variant.
- The winner takes the lead: The solution with the lowest total cost is automatically marked as the Recommended Solution and appears as the first solution in the results list.
- Transparency: You see at first glance that a solution with slightly more waste might actually be cheaper if it can be produced significantly faster.
What if no costs are stored?
If no material prices or machine hourly rates are available for an optimization, the system automatically reverts to the proven logic: In this case, the Balanced Solution will be displayed as the recommendation in the first spot, just as before.
