In the Machine Parameters dialog, the settings for remnants, gates, stress clearances and the package height are made for each machine / workstation.
In intelliDivide Cutting Advanced, intelliDivide Cutting Premium and intelliDivide Nesting Advanced, the material-dependent settings from the materialManager can be used as an alternative. To do this, you need to activate the option in the "Machine Parameters" dialog for each machine/workstation.
Activation of the use of material-dependent parameters
Material-dependent groups make it possible, for example, to define different minimum sizes for residues depending on the properties of the material. In the case of very cheap material, the formation of residues can be dispensed with, as the administrative effort is in poor proportion to the material value. In the case of very expensive material, on the other hand, the formation of very small residues can be deposited, as the additional effort is worthwhile here.
How to create material-dependent groups is described in the Material-Dependent Optimization Parameters section of the materialManager documentation.
Which setting applies to which material can be viewed in the "Plates" tab. For example, the column Leftovers (2) can be displayed via the table settings (1). This column lists the relevant material group. If necessary, you can navigate directly to the settings in the materialManager (3).

Accordingly, the different settings per material are used in the calculation of the cutting plans.
