Settings for the Trim Cut can be made in the machine parameters of intelliDivide as well as in the materialManager parameters in the materialManager.
Machine parameters for minimal Trim cuts
To do this, first open the Machine Parameters dialog in intelliDivide.
Minimum bleed: Depending on the Board quality , a gate is necessary to remove damage to the panels during transport and to ensure angularity.
Minimal grind for Recut: Depending on the accuracy of the saw, grinding before and after recuts is necessary to ensure angularity.
Variable gates: The "Below Gate" option allows you to fall below the specified gates if very large parts could otherwise not be cut to size on a Board . However, this feature does not affect the placement of multiple parts that could be placed together on a panel without gates. If this is desired, the minimum gates must be reduced accordingly either in the machine parameters in intelliDivide or in the material-dependent parameters of the materialManager.

Setting the minimum gates
In the case of hard materials such as HPL, the bleeds can be reduced, which reduces Waste and saves costs.
Even for materials that are often delivered damaged, the gates can be increased to ensure good quality of the cut parts.
To use the material groups created in the materialManager for gates, the "Use of material-dependent parameters" option must be activated in intelliDivide for the respective machine.

Use Material-Dependent Parameters
Material-Dependent Optimization Parameters for Gates
In the materialManager area, you have the option of creating material groups for gates and specifying corresponding parameters in the Optimization area under the Gates tab.
In the material-dependent parameters, you can specify minimum gates and minimum gates for recuts, analogous to the settings in the machine parameters.

Reduce gates for hard materials

Increase gates for commonly damaged materials
If this option is activated, you will find the material group for each Material displayed in the Bleed column under the Plates tab page in an optimization in intelliDivide.
