The selected solution can be used depending on the existing machine, its software version and its connection to tapio.
Cutting patterns can be transferred to a saw either directly or via a directory share. It is also possible to print or use it in productionAssist Cutting.
Nesting plans can also be transferred to a CNC machine via a directory share or used in productionAssist Nesting.

Transfer to a saw

Select the desired machine in the optimization
Once optimized, the solution's SAW file can be transferred to the saw by confirming the "Download (SAW)" button.

To do this, select the network drive directory of the saw in the file dialog.

After the saw has automatically loaded the SAW file, the data is available for production in the saw's run overview.

In addition to the automatic conversion of the SAW file by the saw, SAW data can also be converted manually via the file management.

Transfer to a nesting machine
After selecting the desired solution, the solution can be downloaded as a compressed ZIP file by pressing the Download (ZIP) button .

After unzipping the ZIP file, the MPR(X) programs can be saved to the machine or to a connected network drive.

In the machine assignment, the program is loaded and placed on the desired workstation.

Machine Occupancy
Transfer with the HOMAG File Agent
If the selected machine is not connected to tapio, you can specify the desired type for data transfer. By default, downloading the optimization solution is enabled.
Alternatively, you have the option of transferring the optimization solutions directly to the corresponding directory of your machine. This is done via the HOMAG File Agent and saves you from having to manually move the optimization results. To use this function, select the "HOMAG File Agent" option for data transfer in the machine parameters.

Select HOMAG File Agent as the type for data transfer
In the HOMAG File Agent, you can select either the intelliDivide Cutting or intelliDivide Nesting app, depending on your needs. For the selected machine, select the "Transfer Optimization to Machine" action. In addition, you specify the directory to which the optimization results are to be transferred.
In this way, you can determine individually for each of your machines in which directory the results from intelliDivide are stored.

Settings in the HOMAG File Agent
When you either send an optimized job in intelliDivide to a machine connected via tapio or transfer it via the HOMAG File Agent, the status of the optimization job first changes to "Transmission".
After successful transfer, the file is automatically available in the selected directory of your machine and can be used immediately.

Transfer of optimization results via the HOMAG File Agent
Note: If the machine or the HOMAG File Agent is unavailable, the system will try to carry out the transfer for 24 hours. If the transfer does not succeed within this period, the operation is then marked as failed.
Send to productionAssist Cutting / Nesting
If you also use productionAssist Cutting in your company, you can send the optimization results directly to the app.

The result is displayed in the overview.

The productionAssist Cutting / Nesting guides you through the machining. A label can be printed for each cut part.
Printout of the cutting plans
The Download button (PDF) can be used to download the solution as a PDF document.

The file contains an overview of all cutting plans as well as details about each individual Cutting Pattern.

The file can be printed out and used, for example, to check off the already cut plans.

We recommend using productionAssist Cutting for this purpose.
