With Action QR codes, you can now perform work steps that previously required interaction with a tablet easily and conveniently with a scanner. This simplifies and accelerates your work processes considerably. The following actions are available via the QR codes: Print additional labels, delete material as well as confirm previous storage location and optionally print an additional label.

Print label
To print an additional label at a workstation, scan the corresponding Action QR code, which is marked "Print label". You then have 60 seconds to scan the material for which you need another label.

After the scanning process, a new label is automatically printed and the dialog box closes.
This function is also available in the detail view of a material. Scanning the QR code in this view will directly print a label.
Delete
To remove a material from the inventory, scan the Action QR code labeled "Delete". A 60-second window will open in which you can scan the material you want to remove from materialAssist.

The successful deletion of the material is confirmed by a green dialog that closes automatically after 60 seconds. If you have accidentally deleted the wrong material, you can undo the deletion immediately by clicking on "Undo Extraction" in materialAssist.

If reserved disks are deleted, an orange dialog with corresponding reservation instructions is displayed. In this case, the deletion process must be confirmed by another scan of the plate label.

Record remnants with reservations cannot be removed even with the Action QR code "Delete".
Error deleting reserved disk remnants
If you want to delete several materials, e.g. as part of an inventory, you can now seamlessly proceed to the next deletion process. To do this, scan the Action QR code marked "Delete" again.
In the detail view of a material, scanning the Action QR code allows the direct deletion of the material in question. A dialog will then inform you about the successful execution of the deletion action.
Note:
A deletion process can take up to 60 seconds in the background.
Confirm storage location with or without label printing
With the Action QR codes for "Confirm Bin" (1) or "Confirm Bin and Print Label" (2), you now have the option of simply confirming the restocking of a material with the scanner and printing out a new label if necessary. To do this, first scan the label of your material and then scan the corresponding Action QR code.
