Diagnosis via Internet

Prev Next

You can reach the diagnosis via the Internet via my.homag.cloud. All CUBES are listed here (assigned to the workstations accordingly). Depending on the authorization of the logged in tapio user, various status information of the HOMAG can be retrieved.

How do I achieve the "basic diagnosis"?

Requirements:

  • The onboarding of the HOMAG CUBE must already have been successfully completed using the corresponding product.

  • The user of the basic diagnostics must already be logged in with his login via my.homag.cloud .

1. Reading the serial number of the HOMAG CUBE

  • Take a look at the nameplate on the CUBE.

  • Write down the serial number (19 digits).

2. Navigating to individual HOMAG CUBEs in my.homag.cloud

  • Select the menu item "Shopfloor".

  • Select the HOMAG CUBE with the corresponding serial number from the list.

3. Reading information from the HOMAG CUBE

  • Area 1

The path in my.homag.cloud of the respective HOMAG CUBE is displayed in the menu bar. The arrow on the left can be used to navigate back to the overview of the listed CUBEs. You can use the menu icon on the right to make settings for my.homag.cloud (Attention: Not directly for the HOMAG CUBE).

  • Area 2

In addition to the hostname of the CUBE, the header also shows the assigned workstation and an overall status of the hardware of the CUBE.

  • Area 3

In the third area you can see further states and properties of the hardware of the CUBE:

    • Status: List of all services and their statuses.
In the event of errors, but also warnings and requests for user actions, further information can be read here via the blue information button.

    • Firmware: Display of all information about the currently installed firmware of the HOMAG CUBE.
Even after a firmware update, the "Release notes" entry can be used to track which improvements and new functions have been installed with the new firmware.

    • Network: Displaying various information related to the local network.
Certain features may be helpful for the network administrator when integrating the CUBE into his own network or in the event of connection problems.

    • System: Here, too, the user can read out further information from the CUBE.

What other information do I get with "Advanced Diagnostics"?

Requirements:

  • The onboarding of the HOMAG CUBE must already have been successfully completed using the corresponding product.

  • The Advanced Diagnostics user must already be logged in via my.homag.cloud with their login.

  • The Advanced Diagnostics user must be in the tapio Administrator user group.

1. Navigating to individual HOMAG CUBEs in my.homag.cloud

  • Select the menu item "Shopfloor".

  • Select the HOMAG CUBE with the corresponding serial number from the list.

2. Navigate to Advanced Diagnostics

  • In the basic diagnostics, an additional button "Activate advanced diagnostics" appears.

3. Hardware Features

  • After the advanced diagnostics have been activated, additional information about the hardware properties of the HOMAG CUBE appears.

    • In the "Overview" tab , the most important information and status of the HOMAG CUBE are clearly displayed, just like the basic diagnosis.

    • In the "System" tab, you can see advanced system information. For example, the current temperature of the CUBE or other network properties of the CUBE that are relevant for the network administrator  can be read here.

    • The "Devices" tab lists the devices connected to the HOMAG CUBE. If a printer or LED strips are connected to the CUBE, the corresponding values of these devices can be displayed here.
