You can set the maximum packet height in intelliDivide under the "Packet height" tab in the settings for the machine parameters. The availability of this setting depends on the selected machine.

Alternatively, you have the option of activating the "Use of material-dependent parameters" option and using the settings of the material-dependent parameters for the maximum package height from the materialManager.

Activation of material-dependent parameters

By defining material groups in the materialManager , it is possible to define different maximum package heights depending on the material properties.

For example, for sensitive materials, it can be specified that no packages are formed and that each panel is processed individually. For very heavy materials, the package height can be limited to facilitate the operator's work, while in the standard version, the maximum package height of the machine is fully utilized.

The possibilities of the machine are taken into account. For example, with a SAWTEQ S-320 flexTec or a table saw, each panel is processed individually, regardless of the settings.

Material groups for the maximum package height

Basically, three different options can be set for the parcel height.

For standard materials, the "Maximum Machine Package Height" can be selected to take full advantage of the machine's allowable package height.

The "Single Plate" option ensures that sensitive or protective film-covered panels can be machined individually.

For heavy materials, the maximum package height can be limited to facilitate the operator's work.

Adjustment of the package height per material group

In intelliDivide, you can then view the material group for each material under the "Plates" tab in the "Package Height" column.
