The extension cables of the LED strips are 2.0 m long. You can also add another cable of 2.0 m. The extension cables are available in the HOMAG eShop .

The LED strips are available in the following lengths and can be combined up to a total length of 6000 mm:

Up to 4 LED strips, each with a total length of 6000 mm, can be connected per LED control box.

The LED system, which has been available since 2023, makes it possible to connect another LED control box to an output of the LED control box. Since every LED control box has this output, this process can be repeated several times.

With 2 LED control boxes, you can, for example, realize 4 x 6.00 m (1st LED box) + 4 x 6.00 m (2nd LED box) = 48.00 m LED length with one HOMAG .

Yes, that's possible. When an edge code is scanned with the tablet or with the Bluetooth scanner connected to the tablet, all available roles are displayed. The edge code must be printed on the component label or order papers as a 1D/2D code. When scanning the code, the app searches for the material and activates the LED strips of the matching compartment.

No. The boxes are not necessary for working with the edge shelf. They represent an optional added value, as the edges can also be stored in the cardboard to protect them from dirt, damage and UV radiation. The edge boxes are not yet available.

Yes, this is possible for certain HOMAG series. The prerequisite is woodCommander 5. But you are also very flexible in use in connection with other machines. You can simply continue to use your machining programs on the machine as before. You then enter the consumption directly into the app when you put the edge tape back on the shelf. Alternatively, you can have the remaining length automatically calculated by measuring the outer and inner diameter of the roll. This means that edge management can be used for any type of machine.
