There are various ways to report components, assemblies or articles completed. A completion message in productionAssist can be made by manual entry, scan entry or automatically by a connected machine.
Manual input is done by keyboard and mouse in the web app or by touch on a tablet or touchscreen, while manual scan input is done by a connected scanner.
A connected machine automatically sends a completion message to productionAssist via the HOMAG File Agent.
Manual Completion Notification
The start screen of productionAssist shows all the workstations that are available. Select the workspace you want to work in.
In a feedback workstation (productionAssist Feedback), the components, assemblies and articles that are to be processed are displayed.
To learn how to add and set up a new workstation, see the Configuration section. You can find out how to purchase a license in the Licensing section.

Worklist List
Various options are available for a completion notification of a component, an assembly, or an article in the list of the worklist for a confirmation work center.
If a scanner is connected, simply scan the QR or barcode on the component label. If no scanner is connected, clicking Report Done (1) opens the tablet's camera or the input dialog in the web app and you can scan or enter the QR or barcode on the component label.
Alternatively, you can report individual components by clicking on the Report Completed icon (2), or you can select several components and then click on Report Selected as Completed (3) in the upper right corner.
You can also report all components in the worklist list completed at once by clicking Report All as Completed (4). To do this, it is advisable to filter the desired order name beforehand (5).
Tip:
Use a scanner to work efficiently! Here we have listed supported and tested scanners for you: Recommended hardware

Completion notification of several components at the same time
The list of the worklist of a confirmation work center is reduced by the finished component. If all components are reported, the list is empty.

Completion notification of components
After you have selected one, several or all components manually with a click or with a scanner, a confirmation dialog opens. This dialog indicates that the completion message has already been successful (1) and whether further actions are possible. After 60 seconds, this page closes automatically.
Tip:
By scanning the QR or barcode on the label of the next component to be reported, you confirm the next component (2). You can easily report component by component completed one by one by scanning the QR or barcodes one by one.

Report Parts Finished for Multiple Components
Completion notification of components with a count > 1
For components with a number > 1, the desired number can be increased by clicking (1). Alternatively, if you use a scanner, you can scan the number you want.
Tip:
If you want to report several components with a count > 1 without wanting to select the maximum number for each component, you can use the Report Total Count (2) button.

Selecting a part count > 1 to report on completion
Tip:
Even if you don't use a label for the assemblies or items, the app will find the parent item when scanning a component label. Predefined filters describe how to configure the workstation so that only assemblies or items are displayed.
Completion notification of additional components
The application allows additional components to be reported ready. This can be helpful in the event of overproduction or in the case of reproduction components. Additional components are parts that are reported finished again even though a completion message has already been sent to a work center or work center group. In this case, a warning message appears and the completion message must be confirmed.

Warning: Additional component
Completion notification of unexpected components
The app allows unexpected components to be reported. This can be helpful if, for example, the planned production route cannot be met due to a failure. Unexpected components are parts that have not been planned for a workstation and are therefore not listed in the worklist list. In this case, a warning message appears and the completion message must be confirmed.

Error messages
If a part ID is not found or a part has not yet been released for production, an error message appears. An unreleased part cannot be reported as finished.
