Waste

The key figure indicates the percentage of waste based on the boards used.

Kennzahlen - Abfall

Key figures - Waste

Waste (1) is shown in dark gray in the cutting plans.

Especially when using high-quality materials, you can save costs by using a solution with the lowest possible amount of waste.

By using positive parts, waste can be reduced.

Waste + Leftovers

Leftovers (1) are shown in light gray in section plans. These can be reused in subsequent orders.

Kennzahlen - Reste

Key figures - Remnants

Small leftovers are managed in a hand scrap store. Large residues are returned to the area storage system automatically if necessary.

You can adjust the minimum size for small and large leftovers in the machine parameters (cutting, nesting ).

Leftovers are always associated with a high level of effort (transport back to the warehouse, consideration for future orders). Furthermore, they take up a lot of space, especially in area warehouses, due to the limited stackability. Often, leftovers are not reused later and have to be disposed of. In these cases, they are equivalent to waste.

Especially when using materials that are not common, it makes sense to choose an alternative with a low proportion of residues.

By using positive parts, the proportion of leftovers can be reduced.
