With our latest update, we're introducing several improvements that take manual work off your hands, calculate Material demand more accurately , and make the user interface even easier to understand. Here are the new features in detail:
Automatic assignment of Laminate top / Laminate bottom - Grain on import
Until now, the Grain for Laminates (top/bottom) often had to be updated manually if this information was missing from the import data. We have now automated this:
Intelligent data transfer: intelliDivide now retrieves the Grain fully automatically from the materialManager, provided that it is stored there.
Reliable standard: If there is no material information, the value is set to "none" by default.
Your advantage: You save valuable time in manual data preparation and can rely on reliable standard behavior during import.
Configurable Edgeband overhang (per side)
To ensure that the calculation of the edge requirement fits your machinery exactly, we have made rigid specifications flexible.

The background: Previously, the software used to calculate the edge requirement on the basis of a flat-rate additional consumption of 40 mm per Edge (i.e. 20 mm protrusion per side).
The innovation: Since many machines now require significantly less protrusion, you can now configure this value individually for your production.
Your advantage: The edge requirement calculation now reflects your real production conditions at the Edge banding machine exactly.
New info tooltips for Key figures
intelliDivide provides you Key figures with in-depth data on your optimization results in the Key Figures tab. However, some of these values are highly specific and not always immediately self-explanatory, as they are only relevant for certain calculations.

The innovation: To improve transparency and usability, we have added new info tooltips in the appropriate places.
Your advantage: Simply move the mouse over the respective Key figure to get a short, understandable explanation of the value directly in the user interface.
