Withdrawing/Writing Out Remaining Funds
The following steps are necessary for the removal of a residue:
Calling up the master data menu
Identify and select the desired remainder
Delete Remainder from Inventory
Optional: Residual removal with scanner

Call up the master data in the "Quick navigation" item.

Select Remainder.
Select the remainder: plate code, material code and dimensions to identify the desired remainder (1), information regarding the number of remnants available and plannable (2).
The green line indicates that remnants can be removed here. In the middle right corner you will find an overview of the storage locations ("location definitions").

Overview of storage locations.
Right-click to call up the context menu of the corresponding bin from the rest (see also column "1st occupied space" in the green line above) and "edit" it (1).

Detail page for a storage location.
The detail page for this location opens. After selecting the remainder (1), this residue can be removed from the system via Delete Disks (2). After confirmation of the deletion, this residue can also be physically removed.
If you have also purchased the scanner package for scrap management, deregistering manual leftovers for use outside your HOMAG saw is extremely easy and reliable. When scanning the leftover label, the traffic light shows the availability:
Red = Remainder is reserved and may not be removed
Green = rest is available and was automatically booked out with the scan
Blue = remainder is present several times (--> the QR code of the storage compartment applied to the leftover label must be scanned so that it can be booked out correctly. After that, the rest can be physically removed.)
Storing a produced residue
If a residue is generated on your HOMAG saw during production that can be stored in the hand-held shelf, an action message is displayed and the sawing process is interrupted.

Action message in the assistance graphic on the saw.
Select the storage compartment in which the rest is to be stored (recommendation: assign automatically → the software will automatically check which storage compartment the rest still fits into).
Using an existing remnant on the HOMAG saw
If a handrest is used in a production (e.g. because the optimization prioritizes it), then this is shown in the flow graph.

Sequence diagram during cutting.
During cutting, the flow diagram provides information about the storage compartment from which the required remainder must be taken (1). The remnant code shows which remnant should be used (2).
