Action QR codes
With the action QR codes, you can now use a scanner to perform tasks which previously required tablet interaction. This simplifies and speeds up your work processes considerably. The following actions are available via the QR codes: Print additional labels, delete a material, confirm the previous storage location and optionally print an additional label.

Print label
To print an additional label at a workstation scan the "Print label" action QR code. You will then have 60 seconds to scan the material for which you need an additional label.

After scanning, a new label is automatically printed and the dialog window is closed.
This feature is also available in the detail view of a material. If you scan the action QR code in this view, a new label is printed immediately.
Delete
To remove a material from your inventory, scan the action QR code labeled "Delete". You then have a time window of 60 seconds to scan the label of the material which you want to remove from materialAssist.

The successful deletion of the material is confirmed by a green dialog which closes automatically after 60 seconds. If you have deleted a material by mistake, you can undo it by pressing "Cancel removal".

If reserved boards are deleted, an orange dialog showing the reservation details appears. To proceed, the deletion must be confirmed by scanning the board label once more.

Reserved offcuts cannot be removed, even by using the action QR code "Delete".
Error when deleting reserved offcuts
If you want to delete multiple materials, e.g. as part of an inventory, you can now seamlessly continue with the next deletion process. Simply scan the "Delete" action QR code once more.
In a material's detailed view, scanning the action QR code lets you delete the material directly. A dialog window will then confirm that the deletion was successful.
Please note that the deletion process may take up to 60 seconds to complete in the background.
Confirm storage location with or without printing a label
Using the action QR codes "Confirm storage location" (1) or "Confirm storage location and print label" (2), you can now easily use your scanner to confirm the re-storage of a material and print a new label if needed. To do this, first scan the label of your material and then scan the corresponding action QR code.
