With the Edgeband Management Set you have a complete overview of all the information about your edge material and you can quickly find the right edgeband at any time.

Scope of delivery

The following components are included in delivery:

• Two Apps: "materialAssist Edge" (edgeband management in the rack) & „materialManager“ (central material management in the company)
• Construction plans for the edgeband rack "materialRack Edge" for download free of charge
• HOMAG CUBE (intelligent control box for connecting the rack and the printer to the Internet and the apps)
• Label printer (Zebra ZD421) incl. 2 label rolls
• Installation Guide #BuildYourSolution
• Optional: You can add LED strips to the set as needed. With an LED display on the rack, currently required edge bands can be identified quickly and easily: As soon as an edgeband is stored or retrieved, the LEDs of the corresponding compartment light up.
  • The LED strips are available in lengths of 2000 mm, 1400 mm, 500 mm and 160 mm and can be combined up to a total length of 6000 mm.
  • To use the LED strips, you need an LED control box. You can connect up to 4 LED strips with a total length of 6000 mm each per LED control box.

Install the individual components of your product set as described in the operating instructions and start commissioning.

Technical requirements

What requirements do I need for the Edgeband Management Set? What do I need to prepare?

• Make a request to order the Edgeband Management Set in the HOMAG eShop.
• Tablet: Use the tablet to operate the app on your edgeband rack. You can see here whether your device is suitable.
• LAN socket: You need an Internet connection (LAN socket) near the edgeband rack to be able to connect the HOMAG CUBE and thus the label printer to the Internet.
• WLAN: Make sure that a WLAN is available in the area of the edgeband rack. You will need this to use the app on the tablet.
• 230V power connection: Connect a multiple socket with min. 4 connections to your power connection (230V).
• Bracket for tablet and label printer: You can build this device yourself to attach the tablet and printer to your edgeband rack. You can find the construction plans here.
