Export a bill of materials
When exporting a bill of materials, productionManager Advanced offers three options: Send to intelliDivide, CSV export for cutting optimization, and CSV export of the bill of materials. Details on configuring and activating the different options can be found under the export settings section.
To export a bill of materials, first select the desired parts (1). If no selection is made, the entire bill of materials will be exported. When you have a corresponding license, you can send the bill of materials directly to intelliDivide (2). If you do not have a license for intelliDivide, the option to export for cutting optimization will be suggested to you. The additional options can be accessed via the tricolon. The options displayed depend on which ones you have activated in the export settings. On one hand, you have the option to "Export for cutting optimization" (3) to export a CSV file of the bill of materials which can be used with cutting optimization software other than intelliDivide. On the other hand, you have the option to "Export the bill of materials" (4).
A CSV file will then be generated according to your settings which is available for further use.
Exporting parts for the cutting optimization or sending them to intelliDivide increases the planned quantity at both the bill of materials and order levels. This allows you to quickly see which and how many parts have already been scheduled for cutting optimization.
If these parts are to be exported again, a warning will appear indicating that they are already planned or potentially assigned to a lot. You can still proceed with the export, which will further increase the planned quantity accordingly.
