Maximum book height

The maximum book height can be set in intelliDivide under the tab "Book height" in the machine parameter settings. The availability of this setting depends on the selected machine.

As an alternative, you can enable the option "Use of material-dependent parameters", which allows you to utilize the materialManager's settings for the maximum book height based on material-dependent parameters.

By creating material groups in materialManager, it is possible to define different maximum book heights depending on common properties.

For sensitive materials, for example, it is possible to specify that no stacks are formed so that each board is processed individually. For very heavy materials, the book height can be limited to make the operator's work easier, while the maximum allowed book height of the machine is utilized as a standard.

The capabilities of the machine are taken into account. For example, with a SAWTEQ B-320 flexTec or a circular table saw, each board is processed individually regardless of the settings.

Basically, three different options can be set for the book height.

For standard material, the "Maximum book height of the machine" can be selected to fully utilize the machine's allowed book height.

The 'Single board' option ensures that boards which are sensitive or covered with a protective film are processed individually.

For heavy materials the book height can be limited to facilitate the operator's work.
