Adding or adjusting properties

To adjust existing properties or to add new columns to orders or bills of materials, you can customize the data model. This feature is included starting from the productionManager Advanced version.

To access the data model settings, open the HOMAG menu (1), from which you can access the settings (2). There you will find the corresponding settings under the "Data model" tab (3).

Properties are created and edited either order- (1) or bill of materials-related (2). Below this selection, the existing standard properties are displayed. If necessary, you can define a pre-filled content, meaning a default value for the respective column. The remaining values of the standard properties are predefined.

Additional properties

If your requirements are not fully met by the predefined columns, you have the option to define your own properties via the "+ Add additional property" (1) button. In doing so, you must provide some basic information such as a mandatory ID and a name. Optionally, you can add further details, including a description, the data type (e.g. integers, decimals, text, date and time) and a predefined content (2). It is also possible to define rules (3) for the input of properties. Here, you can decide whether the field is mandatory or optional and set a range for the input of the field.

The new property is added with "Confirm" and can then be used in productionManager and productionAssist.

You can import and export the additional properties when sending the bill of materials to intelliDivide and the API interface.
