Usage of data
Information about material types is stored centrally in materialManager. Many other applications and machines access and use this data. This significantly reduces the maintenance effort for your materials and you can rely on the information being consistent and up-to-date everywhere.
intelliDivide
intelliDivide accesses both board type and inventory information to generate the optimal cutting plans. In particular, the availability of different board sizes and offcuts with varying costs ar important factors.

For each cutting plan the decor, the board code and the board dimensions are displayed in productionAssist Cutting/Nesting. This prevents mistakes and incorrect cutting.

If you want to add a new edgeband coil, board or offcut in materialAssist, you can simply use the material types you have already created in materialManager. The material codes for these materials are printed in bold to distinguish them from those in the manufacturer's catalog which have not yet been added to materialManager.
