Cleaning up the material storage at the end of the year

Overview of the inventory. All boards are sorted by age and type. The QR code can be used directly in materialAssist to dispose of the board.

Over time, your material storage accumulates boards, offcuts and edgebands which are no longer needed. The end of the year gives you an opportinity to create space by discarding non-sellers.

The only question is: What can be cleared out?

This is where the HOMAG Connect materialManager interface comes in. It allows you to access the inventory and it can be used directly via excel.

To further simplify access, we have created Excel templates which can be found under analysis of material data.

After logging in with you credentials (see analyze data with Excel), the existing materials - boards and edgebands listed seperately - are displayed, sorted by age and last usage of each type.

Materials which are most likely to be disposed of are listed at the top.

By scanning the respective QR code in materialAssist, the non-selling items can quickly be located and removed.
