Material-dependent settings for tension trim cuts

In the “Optimization” area of the materialManager, you have the option of creating material groups for the use of the tension trims.
Material groups can be created based on material properties.
For each material group, you can determine whether tension trims should be applied and specify the parameters for their use.
There are various types of tension trims to choose from. If a type is not supported by a machine, intelliDivide automatically uses the standard “Simple tension trim”.
For the settings made in materialManager to take effect, this function must be activated in intelliDivide for the respective machine.
The material group is displayed for each material in the “Tension trims" column in the “Boards” tab.
The tension trims inserted in the cutting pattern are marked in yellow.
From now on, parameters for tension trims can be stored in materialManager in the Optimization area in the same way as offcuts, for example, depending on the material. For this purpose, the materials are grouped according to their properties.
This classification makes it possible to determine whether and which parameters should be used for tension trims, depending on the material properties. This usually depends on the material and coating category and possibly on the manufacturer of the boards.
The availability of the function depends on the intelliDivide license. It is included in intelliDivide Cutting Advanced / Premium.
The applicability of the different types of tension trims depends on the machine selected for optimization in intelliDivide. If a specific type is not supported, intelliDivide falls back on the standard type “Simple tension trim”.
It is not necessary to activate the function in intelliDivide.
