Especially with complex cutting patterns that contain many parts, it is often easier to start with cutting the strips first. For this reason, you can now choose whether a board is first cut into strips or whether you start directly with the cutting of the parts.
If you want to start cutting the strips, the productionAssist Cutting app now guides you through the necessary steps. The dimensions relevant for the strips and the necessary trim cuts are displayed.
After the strip has been cut, a label can optionally be printed for the strips, which contains all the necessary information to identify the strip again during subsequent part cutting.
The entire cutting process is thus simplified even further. Details can be found in the documentation.
Please note: It only works for new jobs sent from intelliDivide to the cutting assistant.
