Support in determining the order requirements for boards and edgebands

Demand and inventory of required boards / offcuts (1) and edgebands (2).

In intelliDivide, the boards and offcuts required for cutting are now available in the material area, as well as the edgeband requirements. When calculating the edge length, a processing allowance of 40 mm per side is already taken into account.

In addition, the decor, height and thickness of each type are displayed if this information has been stored in the materialManager. This enables a simple visual plausibility check. Input errors can be detected before problems occur in production.

If materialAssist Edge is used to manage edgeband coils, or materialAssist Boards for boards and offcuts, additional information on inventory is available. 

If productionAssist Cutting or Nesting is also used, boards and offcuts already reserved for previous optimizations are taken into account when calculating availability.

The comparison of demand and inventory or availability helps to determine the order requirements. Any material bottlenecks that may arise or exist can be identified at an early stage.
