New nesting optimization option "Extended computing time"

The "Extended computing time" option can be activated in the optimization parameters.

Alternatives calculated by the "Extended calculation time" option are marked.

Alternatives calculated by the "Extended calculation time" option have more often similar patterns.

Alternatives calculated by the "Extended computing time" option use offcuts more often.

In intelliDivide Cutting, option "Extended computing time" is available in the Premium license.

In order to improve the quality and quantity of nesting results, an "Extended computing time" option can be enabled in the optimization parameters. This is available from the intelliDivide Nesting Advanced license.

The "Extended computing time" option calculates more alternatives and searches longer for optimal results. As usual, the most interesting solutions are still displayed in the overview. The number of different solutions is mainly influenced by the number of different board and offcut sizes as well as by the parameter "Quantity plus".

The "Extended computing time" option generates solutions with similar patterns more frequently. This reduces the consumption of waste MDF boards.

Note: The "Extended computing time" option results in a significantly longer calculation time.
