Automatic printing of labels at a productionAssist feedback workstation
Activation of the option “Automatic printing when feedbacked” in the configuration of a productionAssist feedback workstation.
As of now, labels can be printed automatically at any productionAssist feedback workstation as soon as a feedback is reported. This applies regardless of whether the feedback is provided manually in the application, via scan, or through HOMAG Connect.
The information printed on the labels is based on the item reported from the worklist, for example a customer order item, assembly unit or part. The number of printed labels corresponds to the number of items that are actually reported.
This new feature is especially helpful in production steps where labels are removed during the process – for example before laminating or veneering – and are required again afterwards. Labels can be printed directly at the workstation where they are needed, without additional manual steps.
Automatic printing upon feedback can be enabled in the configuration of the respective productionAssist feedback workstation using the option “Automatic printing upon feedback”. When this option is enabled, the label selected in the configuration is automatically created and printed whenever a feedback is reported.
