GTIN Integration in materialManager and materialAssist: More Precise Material Search

The "GTIN" field can be added via the settings icon.

In the settings, the "GTIN" field can be selected.

The GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) is an internationally recognized identification number that allows each material to be uniquely identified. Unlike conventional article numbers, which can be assigned multiple times or differnt in regions by manufacturers, the GTIN is unique and assigned to a specific material. This uniqueness significantly facilitates the precise identification of materials.

Improved Material Search for Rehau Products

While it was already possible to find materials using article numbers, the introduction of the GTIN field offers an even more precise search. Especially for products from the manufacturer Rehau, the GTIN allows for direct and error-free identification in the catalog. This saves time and reduces the likelihood of errors when searching.

Flexible Use of the GTIN Field

The new GTIN field is available in the table settings of both materialManager and materialAssist as an optional field. Users can enable the field as needed, allowing them to customize their material management individually.
